We’re excited to announce that assisted stretching sessions are now available at FitClub Wellesley.
As part of continuing to expand the ways we help our members move better, feel better, and recover more effectively, we’ll now be offering private assisted stretching sessions in both 30-minute and 60-minute formats.
Leading this new offering is Bryce Russo, who joins us from StretchMed where he served as Lead Stretch Therapist and worked extensively with clients focused on mobility, recovery, pain reduction, and overall movement quality.
Why Assisted Stretching?
Most people think stretching is only about flexibility. In reality, consistent assisted stretching can have a major impact on how your body feels and functions day to day — especially for adults balancing work, stress, training, golf, running, parenting, or simply the wear and tear of everyday life.
Some of the biggest benefits include:
• Improved mobility and range of motion
• Reduced muscle tightness and stiffness
• Better posture and movement quality
• Improved recovery from workouts and training
• Decreased risk of injury
• Relief from chronic tension from sitting or repetitive movement
• Improved athletic performance and body awareness
• Better circulation and recovery
• Reduced lower back, hip, neck, and shoulder discomfort
Unlike stretching on your own, assisted stretching allows the body to relax more deeply while a trained professional helps guide movement safely and effectively. This often leads to better results and more targeted work based on your specific limitations and needs.
Who Is This For?
This is not just for athletes.
Assisted stretching can be incredibly beneficial for:
• Adults who feel stiff or tight
• Golfers and runners
• Lifters and gym members
• People returning from injury
• Desk workers and commuters
• Anyone who wants to move and feel better
Whether your goal is performance, longevity, recovery, or simply feeling less beat up throughout the week, assisted stretching can be a valuable addition to your routine.
