Summer fun is nearing its end in the coming weeks, and it’s time to get your fitness routine back on lockdown. Here are ten hacks to help you jumpstart your workouts and get back on track quickly:
1. Hack Your Goals
Ditch the vague goals. Be specific. Aim to hit the gym three times a week, run 5 miles, or lift a specific weight. Write it down and commit.
2. Schedule Like a Pro
Treat your workouts like VIP appointments. Find times that work for you and stick to them. Morning, noon, or night – make it happen.
3. Start Light, Finish Strong
Don’t go full throttle right away. Ease back in with lighter workouts and gradually ramp up the intensity. It’s a marathon, not a sprint.
4. Spice It Up
Boredom is your worst enemy. Keep your workouts fresh by mixing in cardio, strength, and flexibility exercises. It keeps you engaged and targets different muscle groups.
